We are committed to the pups we breed. We ask that you are too. This is on average a 16 year commitment which should not be taken lightly. Although we will take our pups back at any time, going back and fourth like this can be difficult and sad for the pup. We pride ourselves in finding only committed forever homes who know what they want and need in a dog.

Questions You Need to Ask Yourself

Is everyone who will be involved in your pups life fully committed to the idea of a new family member?

Puppies are adorable but they do grow into adults. Do you know what is important to you as an adult – in terms of finishing size, look and temperament? (click here for our size terms)

Have you figured out your budget? Over the span of 16 years the initial purchase cost of your puppy will amount to just pennies a day. However, are you prepared to incur routine as well as unexpected medical costs for the duration of the dogs life?

Do you have a plan for housetraining?

Are you going to take time off of work to bond and let the puppy adjust?

Do you plan on obedience training? (You should) There is not a single dog breed in the world that doesn’t benefit from knowing their place in a family, and bonding with the people they love most.
